Leadership Lessons for Turbulent Times from U.S Presidents: Part 1

Today, I will speak about the brilliant book ” Leadership: Lessons from the Presidents for Turbulent Times” written by one of my favorite writers, Doris Kearns Goodwin. Ms. Goodwin draws upon the lives of four of the 4 U.S Presidents she had studied over 5 decades- Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D . Roosevelt, and Lyndon B.Johnson- to show how they first recognized the leadership qualities within themselves and were recognized as leaders by others. Since the subject matter is quite vast, I am covering the details pertaining to Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt, their life, the travails they went through, and how their path to glory in this episode.
